32. Dangly Earrings

Earrings: Claires $1, Sweater: Gap $30, Pants: Gap $30
Shoes: Aldo $18, Purse: Aldo - gifted, Watch: Aldo $35

I actually just had my ears (re)pierced a little under a year ago so my first time wearing Dangly Earrings was in the summer and it felt so weird! I'm still getting used to it. Every time I wear them I think of the old ladies in my church when I was a kid that had seriously stretched out ear lobes and I get a little nervous BUT I do think they are beautiful and so fun! When you wear big, fun earrings like this they become the centrepiece of your outfit so keep the rest of your accessories to a minimum. Also I think that it helps to pull up the hair or else whats the point? No use stretching out your ear lobes if no ones going to see the cause right?

P.S. Have a Happy Halloween everyone! The hubs and I are being Mary Poppins and Bert! What are you being?

12. Black Purse

Sweater: Ann Taylor $10, Necklace Joe Fresh $7, Purse: Aldo {gifted}
Jeans: AEO $40, Shoes: Payless $8

I love my black purse but I have a bit of a purse fetish. Most girls have a shoe fetish but for me it's all about my purses. Now, I understand not everyone needs an endless supply of purses like I do so here is my philosophy on purses. It is important, that at the minimum, you have a black purse and a brown {or any kind of neutral} purse. This way no matter what you are wearing it will match. If we are going to get technical then you should also have a variety of sizes but honestly if you are only going to have one purse make it a good sized black one. A black purse will never look dated and it will look clean for a very long time.

P.S. I just opened up my Etsy shop last week, go check it out!

Today I Adore Long Walks.

You know, in my mind this necklace looked really good with this outfit but I am no longer convinced... but that is what happens when you don't check the mirror before you leave. Lesson learned.

Well on Saturday I had a muscle spasm, said the chiropractor I saw today. {first visit in at least a decade} His name is Dr. Jones, Aqua anyone? Anyways, my back has been pretty sore which has caused me headaches. It is no bueno. So to solve my problem Kennedy and I went for a walk around the neighborhood we live by and it was so refreshing! Luckily enough it was a beautiful day in Rexburg, Idaho.

There were lots of snowmen to see and judge and I have to say I was pretty impressed. Rexburg you have outdone yourself!

My Pride & Joy

Hello Everyone! I am so happy we half reached the halfway mark of the week. I love Wednesdays. Today I got a cleaning streak; I tidied up the house (which needed to be done desperately), I dusted, I swept the kitchen and entry-way, I vacuumed, I did the laundry, I organized our extra towels and linen closet, and I made a delicious dinner... Goodness can you say Housewife Day? Kennedy was happy, he was working on an essay all afternoon so he had a nice CLEAN surprise waiting for him when he was done.

Today I tried a new hairstyle. Last summer I finally learned how to braid my bangs. Well today I decided to braid the left side of my hair too. Oh My Goodness... it was sooo hard! I had to keep reminded myself that learning to braid on the right side was hard too. I finally got it, mostly. In my head my hairstyle looked a little different but as a first attempt I can't be to upset about it. I don't know why but I am just not that skilled when it comes to hair.. if any of you were blessed with that talent than you are very lucky!

Just a shout out to those who commented yesterday... I am very happy to hear I am not the only one that has had issues with hair removal, in the past or currently! haha. I so enjoy all your wonderful comments!

Wearing: Necklace: Forever 21, Belt: GAP, Tank: Old Navy, Jacket: Diesel, Pants: American Eagle Outfitters, Shoes: American Eagle

So this was my attempt to click my heels haha a little embarrassing AND I forgot to look at the camera because I was so focused on my "clicking". Well to address my blog title... okay this jacket is 100% leather and it's Diesel... it was regular like $500.00 or something, it was REALLY expensive whatever it was. Guess how much I got it for? $5.00... no I did not mess up my decimal it was really FIVE DOLLARS and it was not thrifted.. it was BRAND new. Anyways, every time I wear it it makes me so happy. Hope you all had a wonderful day and felt amazing!
