70. Red

Scarf: Gap $21, Sweater: F21 $12, Pants: Gap $30, Boots: Payless - gifted

This has been my go-to outfit this Fall, I think my necklaces are starting to get jealous because they have been so neglected by my new found obsession with scarfs! Anyways, Red. Red is a power color and it definitely turns heads. A LBD is amazing but you swap that our for a Little Red Dress... watch out world. I think wearing Red gives you a little boost and it is especially fun this time of year because of the holidays. The best part is anyone can wear red, I promise! I look best in a bright red but you might find you look good in a deeper, cooler red. You have to experiment to figure out which shade looks best on you but I assure you that it is out there somewhere! Go and get red in wardrobe! It's a great time to shop for it, all the stores are carrying something red right now. Good luck!

48. Leather Jacket

Leather Jacket: Diesel $5, Tee: Smart Set $12, Necklace: Vintage $7
Cargos: Joe Fresh $15, Shoes: Maurices $30

I wasn't so sure about this outfit but I feel like it photographed very well. A Leather Jacket is so versatile, you can go super casual with it like I did or you can dress it up with a dress. I don't know how  this happened but I found this Diesel Leather Jacket for $5 BRAND NEW. I couldn't believe it. This is one piece that I plan on handing down to my grandkids. A nice Leather Jacket typically isn't cheap but I think that it is one of those investment pieces that once you shell out the dough for you are glad. Just make sure you get something that leans more toward classic rather than trendy and you will be glad!

50. Little Black Dress

Dress: Calvin Klein via Winners $32, Bracelets: Joe Fresh & Groop Dealz $10
Shoes: Shoemint via Pink Peonies giveaway, Clutch: Spring (old) Earrings: Claires $1

It is very suiting that the Little Black Dress should end up as 50 on the list. The LBD is one of the most iconic dresses; think Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys. They are so simple yet so chic and timeless. When I saw this dress I absolutely had to have it and I waited until it went on sale, luckily someone didn't snatch it up before I did. I literally searched for three years for my perfect LBD, they can be tough to find but don't be discouraged. There are tons of options out there but it was a little difficult to find one long enough with sleeves, it wasn't nicknamed the Little Black Dress for no reason!

51. Lotion

You guys, how many of you skip over the, oh-so-important, morning-regime step of putting on lotion? It is so important! Especially if you live somewhere that is cold in the winter because coldness dries up soft skin. I use my St. Ives every morning to moisturize my legs. If I am going to wear perfume that day then I use my St. Ives for my arms as well but if not I use a pretty smelling lotion instead. So these are the top 3 kinds of lotions each girl should have.

1. A quality lotion you can buy in "bulk" at walmart, none of this 3 oz stuff, to use for your legs. I prefer Vanilla or Shea Butter, something neutral.
2. Pretty smelling lotion that you love! Don't get a smell because it's "trendy" because if you don't love it you will come to absolutely HATE it. Smelly lotion rubs off on your clothes so you better like it!
3. Mini lotions to put in all your bags. This is so important! They are so easy to find in your favorite scents. Also, confession time, some of mine are the complimentary lotions from hotels. Hey, if it smells good, why not?

What do you think? What is your favorite lotion scent? Mine is the Body Shops Shea Whip... Yum :)

45. Khakis

Khakis: Gap - old, Shirt: Gap $4, Jacket: Luii via Winners $35
Necklace: eBay $12,  Shoes: Shoemint via Pink Peonies giveaway
Watch: Guess - old, Earrings: H&M $1, Bag: Aldo $30

Khakis have always alluded me. I'm not sure why they seem like such a challenge for me, maybe it's because of too many "counsellor" jobs where I was required to wear ill-fitting khakis and awful polos two sizes to big tucked in... maybe? Anyways I did some research for inspiration and I am crowning Jennifer Aniston as the Queen of Khakis, she styles them perfectly and it looks so effortless! I also found an article that was helpful. Also a big thanks to Pinterest! If you have any tips please, please, please share because I am in dire need of some assistance!

47. Lace Camisole

Blazer: Gap $25, Blouse: Forever 21 $15, Necklace: Joe Fresh $7
Pants: Joe Fresh $10, Heels: Maurices: $30, Cami: Target $10
Purse: Aldo $50 Watch: Aldo $35, Bracelet: Groop Dealz $4

Undershirts are an absolute staple of a woman's wardrobe. The Lace Camisole is the perfect undershirt when you are dressing up and you don't want a plain cotton undershirt. You can get them in silk to make them even more fancy. I searched for a years for my perfect Cami and I found it at Target! Who knew? If you aren't as picky as me though they are quite easy to come across you just have to decide what kind of lace you want and if you want it at the top and bottom or just one or the other. I only wanted lace on the top which made it a little trickier to find but I did prevail! I would also recommend getting one in white and black. After you have your basics covered go crazy if you want; collect the rainbow!

42. iPod

Sweater: Old Navy $5, Scarf: Gap $22, Pants: Gap $30, Boots; Payless

Well obviously there is no iPod in this picture but I think we can all agree that those little white ear phones have become an icon in their own right. Who doesn't have an iPod these days or at least owned one at one point in their life? I have one and I love it, can't imagine not having one!

I'm on vacation so this is cut short. I will see you all again on Monday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, eat a lot, sprawl out and enjoy time with your family or whoever you get to be with!

44. Jewelry Display

Can you tell I like birds? I firmly believe that Jewelry is a beautiful accessory on any girl but it is also a beautiful accessory to decorate with! If I have to store it somewhere why not store it beautifully and make it part of the decor? It's kind of like being able to write one paper for two different classes, who doesn't love that? I have found my containers in all sorts of different places; Walmart, craft fairs, little shops, etc. I'm always on the lookout for a fun little holder. You just never know when you might come across the perfect little bird bowl!

41. Hobo Bag

Scarf: Old Navy $4, Sweater: Old Navy $5, Jeans: AEO $40,
Purse: Aldo $25, Shoes: Payless $7, Watch: Aldo $35

I don't know if you can tell but I was so cold when we took these pictures! Winter is not my favorite season although I am loving wearing all my cozy scarves, boots, sweaters and coats, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Okay, the Hobo Bag is basically an unstructured purse; very casual. I love the color of this bag and for some reason I always seem to gravitate towards it in the winter. Perhaps I am in need of some fresh, fun, pops of color when it is white and brown outside. Thankfully, the last few years it has been on trend to wear brights through the winter. Lucky me!
