As you can see this picture was taken awhile ago so I thought I better use these shots before the grass looked too suspicious. I love a good statement necklace... My Jewelry collection certainly supports that! I feel like accessories are such an easy, affordable way to really make an outfit pop. This necklace was supposed to be $12 but they sent it in the wrong color and misinformed me of the quality so when I gave them a "bad" review... frankly it was an honest review but whatever, they refunded my money and that is why it's free. I'm still mostly happy with the purchase but it was supposed to be a grey necklace. Anyways, don't be afraid to wear a bold necklace, I think they are so fun and you will be surprised just how versatile these necklaces are! You can pair them with a simple outfit like this for a pop of color but you can also mix them in with patterns. I especially love a bold necklace with a fun pattern, it's playful but still polished. I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween, we had a blast! We were Mary Poppins and Bert {by far our best ensemble ever}. The hubs made me watch Pyscho for the first time last night, I am not a scary movie person but I liked it, Hitchcock is always a sure bet. However we did have to stay up an extra hour watching Whose Line it it Anyways to end the night with laughs rather than screams!

Dark Wash Jeans, oh how I love this wash of denim. It can instantly be dressed up, without even trying that hard but you are still in the comfort of jeans. Also, they are extremely flattering, as far as jeans go the darker the better if you are looking to flatter your legs.

7. Basic Heels

Okay the deal about the basic heel is keep it simple. If you aren't really into shopping then you should take the time to invest in a simple/basic heel. Look for a toe that follows the natural shape of your toes, not squared but not too rounded. To start get it in a neutral color, black would be best if you don't own any heels yet. Because these shoes are so simple they don't date very fast and you can wear them for a long time. If you already have some basic colors don't be afraid to try some color-blocking ones or ones with a funky pattern on them. If the shape of the shoe isn't very extreme it is likely that they will cycle in and out which prolongs the life of the shoes greatly. Sounds like a great buy right?

Well I finally got my WI-FI up but for some reason it won't let me upload photos... IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING! Funny story about WI-FI though. When Kennedy and I were in high school we drove by this hotel often {it's on a main road} and it was always offering free WI-FI. We were so confused, and we always wondered "What is wee-fee?" Haha yah... one day we figured it out, thankfully.

Well folks, for the summer I am going to have to cut down to three posts a week, I know it's really sad. It's just that for work I will be sporting some fancy orange cover alls, basketball shorts and an old Tee... so when I get home I will of course shower but I might not want to actually get dressed up for lounging in my house for the evening... but because of you I will get dressed at least three times a week :) Hope you have a great day!

Red = Love

Well it's Monday today and this weekend was DST and we lost an hour! Let me tell you, I dearly love that hour we lost and it was much missed this morning. Normally I wake up around eight which is wonderful because my class doesn't start until 11:30 but today I woke up at 10:30! I never sleep that late... I blame it on DST. But... it is almost 7:00 and it is still totally light outside! That makes me so happy.

So while I was rushing to get ready I could also hear the wind rushing so that is why my hair is way up. This morning it looked like I was wearing a Turban with feathers... it tamed down a bit as the day went thankfully.

So I know that I have now worn my Leather Jacket twice in a week but you don't understand. It sat in my closet all winter just waiting to be worn and it waited to patiently too. So I am just giving it love after it's lonely winter. See... I am so nice!

Okay... so I was being a nerd but you know how Jackets always have really cool interiors and NO ONE gets to see them so you walk around all day wanting to tell people "Yah, I have a cool jacket but you should see the inside!" Of course you don't actually ever say that and no one asks to see this inside, even if they did that might be awkward. Anyways so here, now you know my Jacket has a cool red inside.
